Graduate Research Analyst
at Beauhurst in London
(₤20000 per year)
An amazing entry-level job at an ambitious fintech startup for an intellectually curious, analytical and can-do candidate. Learn about equity investment, accelerators, scale-ups and many other exciting topics, whilst benefiting from a friendly environment where lots of training is provided.
About the role
Our graduate researchers start off with three core tasks: finding interesting ambitious companies, researching and creating profiles for these and keeping our investor profiles up-to-date. New starters learn the ropes on all three before starting to specialise.
Whichever area you specialise in, you will be involved from time to time in other projects. Whether that’s looking at new research areas, making our processes more efficient or conducting custom research for our clients, these projects will provide diversity and allow you to learn new skills.
We want intelligent, analytical candidates with a strong personality and good sense of humour that like to research and understand often-complicated situations and topics. You will have excellent attention to detail, great writing skills and have a good grasp of numbers.
If you don’t know anything about finance, law, business and the like, don’t despair – plenty of us in the team have degrees completely unrelated to these fields (such as Philosophy, Biology and History). If we think you’re a good fit for the team then we’re happy to train you up from scratch. We’re ultimately looking for people with amazing potential and a positive, can-do attitude. Knowledge of our space is just a nice positive.
How to apply
Please submit a CV and covering letter. Generic cover letters will be automatically rejected.
