UX Designer (Bristol)

Designed and co-developed with educators, Spiral is a suite of apps that can be used on any internet-connected device in a classroom. Each app is designed to mirror a specific classroom practice and can be used across all subjects and age ranges.

We're looking for a UX designer to work with us either part time or full time at our Bristol office, because we want to do this well.

The role of UX designer will give you full ownership of your work. You will be responsible for solving challenges of user interaction between students and teachers in a classroom setting via apps that replicate known teaching practices. This will require a high level of creativity and original thinking because you will be solving problems that haven't been solved before.

We're looking for someone who:

• Works well in small, agile teams.
• Can handle a high level of ambiguity and deliver well thought out solutions that are the best fit.
• Can communicate well with stakeholders such as teachers, headmasters, investors, and the product team.
• Ability to work directly with a lead developer and a graphic designer.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Can work with different nationalities in different locations.
• Passionate about technology, willingness to learn and try new things.
• Coding skills not necessary but an understanding of how coders work is highly desired.
