Based in the heart of London, GapCap is a FinTech business that provides UK businesses with an online platform to release the cash tied-up in their unpaid invoices. We provide SMEs with the cashflow finance that they need to grow. we are looking to recruit a funding analyst to join our rapidly growing team.

Since inception in June 2014, our aim has been, and remains to make financial products simpler and more effective for our clients. GapCap leverage the future cashflow of a business in a simple, fast, and flexible way. We have the best of both worlds; combining our super-efficient technology with our team of experts keen to understand each business we work with.

About the role

Key responsibilities:
o Member of funding management team
o Working directly with clients and potential clients
o Ensuring clients and potential clients understand our product
o Working as a bridge between the front and back office
o Being a GapCap tech platform pro and helping clients and potential clients with their journey
o Deep understanding of all transactional risks and conveying these clearly to clients
o Presenting our product to clients on the phone and digitally
o Progression to identifying and managing their own clients

In a fast-growing business environment, it is important that all GapCappers understand that flexibility and dynamism is a necessity. On a day-to-day basis, people are asked to go outside of their job roles and pitch in to help - a ‘get your hands dirty’ attitude is crucial.

The role will involve working with the entire team to guarantee our product is right for our current and future clients by ensuring the decision-makers are educated to the benefits of using GapCap.

The all-encompassing aspect of the job offers autonomy and flexibility to the right candidate and will suit someone with a more consultative approach to business development and a focus on long-term relationship building.

Skills and experience:
• Great communication skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Interest in Finance and Technology
• Have an undergraduate 2:1 degree from a Russell Group university
• Some relevant prior working experience
