The Role

We’re seeking a tenacious Sales Executive who will assist the UK Sales Manager in sourcing, engaging with and recruiting mechanics into our network throughout the UK. We’re looking to build out an awesome sales team and this is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced Sales Manager at a pivotal time. There is an opportunity to contribute to the team’s strategic decisions and help to build out an efficient sales process and structure that will allow the team to excel.

ClickMechanic is a marketplace for mechanics that is bringing trust, transparency and convenience to car repair. The platform enables customers to acquire real-time industry standard quotes (a first in Europe) and quickly book a vetted mechanic online.

Founded in 2012 by EF alumni Andrew Jervis and Felix Kenton, the company has grown quickly to offer nationwide coverage and is backed on its mission by such institutional investors as 500 Startups, and Forward Partners as well as angel investors including the former CEO of JustEat and Chairman of Treatwell.



Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the sourcing of suitable mechanic and garage leads who could potentially join the network
Calling new mechanic leads and engaging in dialogue relating to the product with the objective of on-boarding them into the network
Dealing with inbound mechanic enquiries in relation to joining the network and assisting in on-boarding suitable inbound applications
Delivering on agreed targets and reporting to the UK Sales Manager
Continually looking to improve processes and define best practice as we grow and develop the team

Some preferred attributes include:

Have prior sales or business development experience in a high volume outbound cold calling environment
University graduate
A love of all things cars-related would be a massive bonus but not essential
