CTO FOR A.I. MENTORING STARTUP (PAID!)
at Pillar in Bristol
Do you think the current stigma around mental health needs to change?
Do you have an interest in A.I. Technology?
Can you put them both together?
Great! Then you’ll love what we’re doing at AIMÉ.
We’re developing an artificially intelligent mentoring engine to solve the problem of lack of accessible and affordable coaching and mentoring, whenever and wherever people need it.
What does the CTO get out of this?
A salary and an equity stake in the company
Full freedom in setting up the product, setup and team
A place at the Bristol Espark incubator program. Providing some of the best entrepreneurial training and mentorship in the UK
Top floor office space at the Bristol Espark centre.
Probably a lot of coffee, laughs and late nights
What type of person are we looking for?
Be the technical mastermind behind our vision and make it happen
Find the 80/20. We’re dreamers and we need someone who can boil down our ideas into reality
Provides options and finds solutions. We never use the words “that’s impossible” or “we’d never do that.”
Have good communication skills and are able to quickly adapt to new challenges when needed
Excellent analytical, logical and critical thinking skills
Entrepreneurial spirit and a hands-on mentality
Data and analytics driven.
Ideally you previously worked in a startup and/or in a dynamic environment
To do anything that’s required to make your start up successful – even if it meant doing a bush-tucker trial!
What skills does the CTO need?
Shape the company’s culture and strategy as top management team member
Hire, build and lead our engineering team
Be god-like in that: you will create the product, infrastructure and processes with your full stack abilities.
A solid knowledge of working with and building integrations (APIs)
Experience with A.I. systems or at the least, a basic understanding and avid interest in developing A.I. skills further.
Experience with dynamic languages, database modeling and ETL processes
You have good communication skills and are able to quickly adapt to new challenges when needed
Fluency in English
Why this start up?
AIMÉ was born during Chris’ 6 years service in the Royal Air Force (RAF). He was an aircraft engineer, supervisor and mentor.
During military service, they go through some unique experiences. Both positive and negative.
Unfortunately, our troops on the front line see and do things no person really should. Understandably, their mental health is greatly affected.
While the current mental health support structure is there, it has its flaws. Chris didn’t think it was good enough and wants to improve it dramatically.
Not just for the military but for everyone.
If this sounds like a purpose you could join, please get in touch by sending your CV and a quick message of what entices you about this post.
From there, we’ll take things slow and have a few casual conversations and see where it leads us. We’re fortunate to have funds and time on our side.
We look forward to hearing from you!
