Newly launched local app startup is looking for energetic and presentable Activation Executive to visit & meet with shop owners in North London

localove is an app and website for discovering what's local around you at any time of day. You can go window shopping for events, new products or find out what’s for lunch just round the corner. We are live in Muswell Hill & Crouch End, expanding to other North London locations.

We are looking for an Activation Executive to sign up local shops and business owners to the platform and keep them actively engaged with the app. A varied & challenging role involving a mixture of door to door visits, lead generation via email & phone calls.

This is a small start up so roles and responsibilities will change at the drop of a hat. You’ll need to be flexible and accommodating to these changes as and when the business requires. Smartphone owner and advanced technology capability is essential for app demonstrations. Above all else you will need an impenetrable smile, unfaltering enthusiasm and the motivation to succeed where others would simply give up.


Some examples of the responsibilities of an Activation Executive include, but are not limited to:

• Visiting shops face to face to sign them up to the platform & continue to engage with them on an ongoing basis
• Consulting with shop & local business owners on different posting ideas to help them promote their events, offers, products & services to local residents
• To ensure the app is performing as expected, helping users with technical knowledge, submitting any bugs found & suggesting new features and improvements to the team
• Assisting the Activation Manager with any online & offline marketing initiatives to grow the number of active local residents using the platform
• Collecting and submitting local events & offers to help with preparation of the weekly newsletter
• Replenishing promotional items at point of sale and ensuring exposure is maintained in the local area.

You will be also be involved in our end of week wrap up meeting to share ideas over a drink with the CEO and the rest of the team.

This is a full time job for a minimum of 24 hours per week across 3 days a week

Pay: £1100 per month

Interviews taking place: wc. 20th February
