True AI is a venture backed artificial intelligence startup that automates customer support using machine learning/deep learning. Our product is the result of our own research, building on top of cutting-edge deep learning breakthroughs. The founders are experts in management and artificial intelligence, with business backgrounds companies such as McKinsey and Goldman Sachs, and research experience at labs of names such as Amazon and Yoshua Bengio. We are alumni of Entrepreneur First and part of Microsoft Accelerator, which has an acceptance rate of less than 2%.

We are looking for someone passionate about business development who wants be part of the future of AI. You will play a key role in taking our business to the next level.


A position as a Business Development Intern in London.
Hands-on business development experience, setting up new business practices.
An opportunity to report directly to the CEO and work closely with him to implement best practice business processes.
Significant client exposure.
As much responsibility as you like. We are a startup, after all.
A possibility to progress to a permanent position after the internship period.


Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, via email, chat and telephone.
Identifying and researching potential markets and customers.
Managing incoming leads (website, emails, phone) and maintaining CRM.
Creating client-ready presentations.
Preparing for and representing True AI at conferences and various events.
Conducting marketing and sales analytics and creating relevant forecasts.


Excellent English.
Business education or relevant business experience.
Confidence speaking with clients in person and on the phone.
Ability to work independently and capability to take initiative on specific projects.
Good knowledge of Office programs (esp. presentations and spreadsheets).


Experience in marketing or sales.
Knowledge of Sales/CRM tools (Salesforce, Linkedin, Streak, etc.)
Technical skills


London-based or willing to relocate to London.
Legally allowed to work in the UK (UK/EU citizen/necessary work permit). Unfortunately we cannot sponsor visas at this stage.
Work full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week).
Minimum length of the internship is 4 months.
Internship period begins in February/March.
