About the role

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join our expanding team and work on projects for new and existing clients like Made and House of Fraser. This role will involve working with clients and team members at Poq to lead on implementing pixel-perfect design for new apps. You will ensure the apps are as beautiful and innovative as the designer creation. You will implement new features with the same eye for detail and usability.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll add new functionality and improvements to the app platform, and then hook these up to the cloud via the Developer Centre and CMS. You’ll collaborate with clients and designers to deliver amazing apps for top retailers. And you’ll work on a platform written in pure Swift.

The ideal candidate for this role has an eye for design and is passionate about building apps that act fast, don’t crash and look beautiful.

What we’re looking for;

A love for writing clean, maintainable, easy-to-test code for iOS.
Experience working closely with designers, and having an eye for design.
Experience collaborating with clients or product owners using an Agile process.
UX Design skills (you can talk passionately about the latest UX design trends).
At least three years iOS and one year Swift Development experience.
Published at least one native app in the App Store.

The desirables;

Test Driven Development or Behaviour Driven Development (TDD/BDD) experience.
Experience in ecommerce or retail.
GitHub source control and Continuous Integration.
