This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic IT services and support consultant, working for a company whose core business is providing a high-quality service to client base of small and medium sized businesses.

Your position is working for an IT services company, as a Technical Support Engineer providing product and application support to their existing customer base and technology partners. The role will be based in the West London office.

Key skills and ideal experience (not essential):
• Primarily a 1st to 3rd Line IT Support role. Someone who is confident managing Microsoft Windows servers and technology. MCSE or equivalent beneficial.
• Providing technical support to clients both onsite and remotely.
• Research and seek solutions to problems and documenting findings.
• Traveling around London / UK as necessary visiting clients.
• Manage various services via online portals and control panels.
• Responsible for managing cloud services.
• To provide research reports related to new and existing technologies.
• Includes exposure and full responsibility for technologies typically related to the provision of IT infrastructure for varying businesses from hosted exchange to server virtualization.
• The candidate should be a good communicator who is friendly and patient and is happy engaging with VIP clients while demonstrating professionalism. This is combined with a good technical knowledge necessary for the delivery of 1st to 3rd line support.
• The role requires a person who is able to take ownership of a problem, research it and provide a resolution in a timely and effective manner. Ideally you would enjoy reading and learning about technology.

The company has been operational for over 10 years and has developed organically, while 2016 was a year growth the company are still within start up mode, meaning their rapidly increasing client base needs another Rockstar engineer to aid and facilitate customer support.

Salary: £25,000 to £40,000 per annum + benefits.

You will be primarily providing 1st and 2nd line with some 3rd Line IT technical support around servers etc. to client both onsite and remotely. This role is roughly 80% office based with 20% visiting clients so applicants should be aware of the need to be flexible and customer service centric. Someone who is confident managing Microsoft Windows servers and technology. MCSE or equivalent beneficial.

You should be adept at finding solutions to problems and documenting results, open to traveling around where necessary visiting clients, and manage various services via online portals and control panels. As a Technical Support Engineer in the role you will gain exposure working with a portfolio of exciting customers from Media Industry Titans, to Professional services companies who trust our client implicitly with many of their IT support needs, this means you should have good people engagement skills as you will be maintaining many of the business relationships dealing with senior external figures as part of your role.

Longer term there is scope to develop from a 1st / 2nd line support consultant in to a Senior Technical Account Manager.
