AMPP Group is well established technology company with a client base of FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients. AMPP is seeking an exceptional individual to join our rapidly growing team as a MEAN Stack Junior Developer.

AMPP Group’s engineering team works on multisided collaboration platforms and seeks an individual who can participate in developing a project from the ground up to assist the existing team and allow the development of several features in parallel.

The candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, not being afraid of being involved in tough challenges and prone to Front-end Development.

The role involves working within agile methodology, and the successful candidate will have the ability to problem solve and find new creative solutions to tough logical problems. A keen interest in social platforms and content management systems is preferred.

Salary: £25.000 per annum + bonus + benefits

Skills and Languages:

+ Deep knowledge of web languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
+ Deep knowledge of the AngularJS framework (version 1.x and possibly version 2).
+ Experience with UX and UI design.
+ Minimum knowledge of relation database functioning, especially SQL and PostgreSQL types.
+ The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen interest in both front and back end development.
+ Candidates with knowledge of NodeJS and the Express framework are preferred, although this is not necessary.
+ Candidates who have experience of designing an entire application are preferred.
+ Knowledge of graphics editor softwares, such as, the Adobe products, GIMP or other are preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ To work within the Software Development team to ensure that project and overall targets are met.
+ To set up a back end connected to our already existing platform.
+ To provide creative suggestions and ideas to improve user experience and the development of new features.
