OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We’re recruiting a Business Development Manager to to help supercharge our company’s growth. This is a unique opportunity to join an artificial intelligence company based in London who’ve been working with world-class customers to develop game-changing cybersecurity software that will transform how organisations protect their information. This role requires someone with high IQ and EQ, who’s a world class communicator and relishes the thought of originating, navigating and executing high value accounts with senior level IT, Information Security and Compliance stakeholders.

All out Business Development team are 'full stack' operators, working on deals from lead generation through to close. Our team is agile - and opportunities for progression don't have an upper limit. A really fantastic team member could easily find themselves managing a team of their own in a year's time or opening our North American office. That said, day-to-day activities are likely to include:

-Proactively sourcing new leads and new business opportunities
-Leading product demonstrations and client meetings with senior executives
-Responsible for independently leading and managing a sales pipeline
-Producing ad-hoc marketing and sales documentation
-Reporting on sales activity and revenue forecasts
-Performing outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, and opportunity qualifications.
-Researching accounts to understand need, enable effective follow up, and generate interest.
-Successfully managing and overcoming prospect objections.
-Building relationships.
-Proactively looking for opportunities to improve, optimise outbound lead management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Necessary:

-A self starter, ability to work under his/her own initiative
-Highly credible and articulate face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
-A confident persona and someone who loves building relationships with others
-Ability to deliver extraordinary customer relationships
-Intelligent individual, comfortable with technology and software
-Professional, determined, and results oriented
-You must have the right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer sponsorship to those without the right to work in the UK


Desirable:

-Previous cybersecurity related experience
-Previous experience working in a start-up
-Degree from a top tier university
-Previous sales experience

BENEFITS:

-£35,000 – £40,000 (DOE) + equity + performance based incentives
-OTE of £70,000 - £80,000
Central London office location
