BLACKBX is a startup company providing value-added WiFi to businesses around the world. Our software product enables any customer facing business to understand their customer by collecting data on customers, via a WiFi network.


We are a small, dynamic team across support, sales and software development based in Leith, Edinburgh, and as our user base is growing at an exponential rate, it is an exciting time to get involved with us.


We are looking for someone with an interest in working in exciting startup and an awareness of the market. An understanding of BLACKBX and our vision is key to lead and develop our marketing campaigns. Our Marketing manager will be responsible for developing and delivering all marketing activity across the business including reviewing, developing and managing the marketing strategy ensuring its alignment with the overall business objectives.


You will work closely with our sales team to enable them as best possible to bring on business. You will build strong agency relationships, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, delivering a consistent approach to core marketing processes and activities whilst participating in the planning and implementation of marketing strategies.


Responsibilities


*Driving acquisition and retention *Assist with product and feature launches *Create and deliver multichannel marketing campaigns across appropriate channels *Work closely with sales to equip them with relevant information to enable sales growth *Be the ‘go to’ person for customer knowledge and development *Monitor campaign progress


Requirements


*Educated to degree level, ideally in marketing or a related subject *Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of the principles of marketing *Awareness of the role of marketing in a startup company *Previous experience in a marketing role and leading a team *Ability to plan campaigns and manage multiple agencies and stakeholders *Confident and able to build strong relationships *Able to embrace change and adapt to new ways of working *Excellent attention to detail and a strong customer focus *Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Analytical and able to extract meaning from data *Ability to travel as required *Hubspot knowledge *Salary dependent on experience.
