Goodlord is looking for an organised and enthusiastic graduate HR Administrator, or ‘People Person’ to join our People team.

Our People team are the beating heart of Goodlord. We exist to support and enable Goodlordians to do the best work of their careers here. That’s why your actual title will be People Person and why we’ve shrugged off the HR mantle – we believe people are people, not resources. As our very first People Person, you’ll be a true generalist, juggling a myriad of People admin and support tasks. On any given day, you could be making a great first impression on new starters to our team, running our payroll or trialling improvements to our people process.

This fast-paced and varied role offers an excellent opportunity to kickstart your People career, in a fun environment where no two days are ever the same.

Managing the onboarding process for new Goodlordians – from issuing contracts and storing right to work documents to coordinating inductions
Making sure our People data is up to date and accurate, and tracking any employee changes on our People system
Working with basic People analytics – we’re fascinated by how we can use data from our people systems to improve our candidate and employee experience
Managing our payroll, communicating with our external partners to avoid errors
Keeping an ear to the ground and supporting our workforce as and when required
Knowing our benefits and People processes inside out and offering first line support and advice to managers
Bringing a fresh perspective to our current People processes and helping the team iterate on them as we grow to ensure scalability.

Skills and Experience
A good degree from a great university (or equivalent interesting and relevant experience)
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and bags of EQ
You possess heaps of common sense, a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck into any given problem, no matter how big or small
You have an analytical mindset, with experience of using programmes like excel and chartio to analyse data
A sharp eye for detail and process
You’re proactive and diligent
