Digital Marketing and Community Manager

pi-top’s mission is to help change the face of STEAM education. We have designed and manufacture, two affordable, education focused computers. The combination of pi-top’s hardware and software makes it possible for any teacher, regardless of their computer literacy, to deliver fun and engaging lessons across the range of STEAM subjects.
We are looking to hire an experienced Social Media/Community Manager. This person will be responsible for pi-top’s social media accounts with the goals of growing our audience, converting them to active fans, leads, and customers and advocates for pi-top. The role is a critical addition to our rapidly growing team, and will work across the organisation and with our PR partners to help drive pi-top brand upwards and onwards.
*Expand our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and other channels as approproate
*Develop channel-sepcific integrative strategies
*Create a solid content strategy
*Create an integrate multi-channel strategy
*Create promotion and engagement strategies
*Content management/creation duties
*Create and work with PR partners on content. Create appropriate and shareable content
administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content
regular publishing schedule *Run social promotions in collab with tracking their success *Report on pi-top’s social media ROI through appropriate tracking and alanyltics *Community manager *Keep an eye on all social media channels *Pro-active on support and forum (Helpdesk)
Requirements *University bachelor degree (2.1) *min. 1 year marketing experience in social media roles *excellent written communicator and creative thinker *proven ability to work across an organization both to generate impactful soical media content and to support other functions (e.g. Customer Care, PR_) *experience with social media software to mointor and manage the conversation *Keen interest in education and maker (technology) market *Creative, flexible, proactive
