WhiteHat is a tech startup founded to address the lack of high-quality, career-focused apprenticeships on offer for ambitious young people and provide employers with the means to attract the best non-graduate talent.


Our mission is to accelerate incredible careers and develop a diverse group of future leaders.


We are looking for an exceptional person to join our business development team, forging strong relationships with new clients prepared to recruit and advocate for apprentices in their organisations.


The Role


  • Initiate new client relationships, using our CRM system to record conversations with both passive and active leads and working with our team to close these accounts
  • Educate and inspire new prospects on the value of WhiteHat’s apprenticeship offer
  • Become an expert on WhiteHat and apprenticeships more broadly, and evangelise about what apprentices can offer employers
  • Work within a team to identify new opportunities and develop targeted sector strategies
  • Share best practice, work collaboratively, and co-ordinate an approach to key accounts
  • Work in conjunction with our marketing team to refine and develop approaches on B2B approaches
  • Constantly look for ways to improve sales conversions and the efficiency of our process
  • Act as a representative of the WhiteHat values and brand at all times, acting with integrity at all times

About You


  • You are passionate about helping to deliver the best learning opportunities to young people
  • You care deeply about how both our customers and our users perceive us
  • You have great presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You are an excellent networker and adept at building relationships
  • You have a proven track record in achieving outcomes and demonstrating success
  • You have previous experience in a business development role with a track record of performance and achieving goals
  • You have a consultative sales style
  • You ideally have startup experience
