ABOUT PERFORMANCE LEARNING


We are an EdTech company based in London and Dubai, helping 1000’s of pupils every year accelerate their learning through our digital platform and content rich resources. We have been in business for nearly 9 years and we are looking at growing our London team.


As our Marketing Assistant, you’ll be working closely with the company’s Head of Marketing. You will be key to our growth hacking / marketing across multiple channels and platforms, and as such you will be able to demonstrate great initiative and grow within the team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
User acquisition: using a mix of channels to deliver top of funnel week on week growth, including: social, email marketing, paid media.
Lifecycle marketing: user engagement and retention with email and newsletters.
Analytics: reporting on campaign performance.
Content & comms: writing articles, website, email copy and blogs. Editing video content.
Co-ordinating campaigns with our PR teams in London and Dubai.
User Research: talking and researching about to our core client base and understanding their needs to help – improve our products and services.
Familiarity with popular digital marketing tools is essential (MailChimp, Twitter, Facebook etc).


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
2 years+ experience in digital / design / marketing, with a passion for youth engagement and advancing education.
Excellent design and video editing skills (including Photoshop).
Confident using WordPress to design new content and manage existing pages.
Excellent communication and writing skills (with examples of previous blog posts / content writing required).
You’re a self-starter.
You show initiative and work well in a team yet can zone in and work alone to execute tasks.
You are ambitious and hungry to succeed.


The first two months of the role involves the following:
Editing video content to a high standard for use online and on our digital platform.
Launching / managing our email newsletter (content to design / functionality).
Manage company social media accounts (daily posts).
Manage / edit / contribute to company blog (fortnightly).


We have clear brand guidelines, digital brand books and clear directions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has marketing experience to grow within a team and develop their digital marketing skills working on a range of exciting projects.


Offices in Central London. Competitive market salary assured. Initially offering a fixed-term, 12-month permanent contract.
