We’re looking for someone who shares our ambition and entrepreneurial spirit, has lots of energy, a positive attitude and the drive to hit the ground running from day one.

Based in London and reporting to the CMO, the Business Development Manager will be be responsible for generating leads, engaging with prospective clients, signing new merchants to the marketplace and managing those relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Being able to demonstrate strong product knowledge and the ability to articulate our value proposition
-Owning the entire process, from identifying prospective merchants, meeting key decision-makers, pitching the
value proposition, closing deals and on-boarding onto the marketplace platform
-Building and managing relationships with merchants
-Managing sales pipeline and forecasting
-Meeting quarterly sales goals
-Attending and representing the company at industry events

The ideal candidate:
-Is an outgoing people-person
-Is highly motivated by the end goal and success
-Has at least 1 years’ experience in sales or a proven personality to succeed
-Has a track record at establishing, achieving and exceeding measurable goals in a sales environment
-Has a willingness to learn, grow, adapt and think laterally
-Is self motivated and a highly ambitious self starter who is detail orientated, organised and flexible
-Has excellent written, verbal and communication skills
-Has a passion for sales, for learning, for creating business relationships and is wanting to make a real difference

It would be a bonus (but not essential) if you had:
-B2B sales experience
-Experience in an online marketplace
-Strong IT skills and experience using CRM systems
-Knowledge of the building and construction industry
