Hours: 9.30 am – 5.30 pm (some evenings/weekends) Salary: Expenses (£250 p/m)

About us

Global Street Art exists to fulfil a mission. Our mission is to live in painted cities. Based in Shoreditch since 2012, we are best known for three things:

1. We host the world’s largest and best classified online street art archive, globalstreetart.com, with over 110,000 photos featuring submissions from thousands of artists in over 100 countries. We also manage a respected editorial voice with a large organic fan base on social media of over 380,000 fans.

2. Our pioneering Walls Project has organised over 1,500 legal murals in London.

3. Working internationally with brands like Kodak, Assassin's Creed, Wacom, Adidas, Google and Sony, we deliver high-quality commercial projects including mural design, execution, image licensing and live events.

The Role

As Film Intern, your primary task will be to film and edit video content for our pure-art projects. You will also generate ideas with a fast-paced production team and create quick, engaging multimedia content for our social media audiences. We’re looking for a creative thinker with a broad range of skills who is keen to gain experience working within a small agency. A passion for street art is beneficial and a willingness to learn essential!

The ideal candidate will:

⋅ Be energetic and self-motivated
⋅ Comfortable creating film content with short turnaround for social media content
⋅ Experienced in filming and film editing (using Adobe Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro, iMovie)
⋅ Have good written English skills
⋅ experience using YouTube creator studio
⋅ Personable and have a sense of humour!

Responsibilities include:

- Creating time-lapse video content for YouTube
- Creating 60 second Instagram videos/promotional content
⋅ Working alongside creative team on developing content series’ that bring our projects to life
⋅ Working with the communications team to develop content strategies for social media
⋅ Constantly thinking of fresh ideas and experimenting with new techniques
