We’re a startup based in the Alphabeta Building in Shoreditch, London. We’re hiring quite a few people right now so you could be numero 12 or 17. Good times. However, our relatively small team is taking on a big challenge: ‘The Housing Crisis’. But there is no lack of ambition in our team and we have the background, skills, experience and vision to pack a heavyweight punch.

We believe that by using technology to crack open the land market like the claws of a prize winning lobster, we’re in the process of making a big business that will uncover the places on which more houses can be built, by a wider range of people. We hold it in high importance to build a team. In working for us you’ll be in constant contact with the company founders, so you’ll be in environment where you can learn about the conception of and running of a startup company that is scaling up. So who do we expect you to be?

  • You’re a ‘people person’ who will be able to understand our customers’ business needs to better support them, retain them (and upsell them, as this is a commission based role!)
  • You are analytic, comfortable gathering the data you need to make decisions
  • You are convincing, persistent, fast to learn and have the desire to scale out this part of our team
  • You believe in our culture and vision

As for the the day to day…
This role is about setting up our Customer Accounts department of our company, incorporating Customer Success. To begin with you will be the go to person for all customer training and support, but also customer retention and upselling across both online and offline channels. You will quickly need to replicate yourself and automate as much as you can. You should be fast and strategic about this. You will quickly become a product expert and intimately understand our users needs and requirements so they can get the most out of the software, and are on the appropriate plan. You will create great content to deal with common support and training requests digitally.

About you

  • You will be have relevant experience of being in a sales team
  • Property industry experience is a big plus
  • You will want to help us make a big business and own part of it
