Job description:
The lead JavaScript developer will be in charge of managing, augmenting and maintaining our NodeJS APIs both in development and production. Also, there is an opportunity to work on both a React Native application being developed to manage our fleet of contractors and crew members (conducting viewings) and an admin panel, currently developed in Angular 1 but will be migrated to React.

Core tasks:

• Maintenance & development of API (currently written in ExpressJS)
• Managing the server-side JavaScript team
• Writing tests
• Working on the React Native application for Pad crew
• Building and maintaining technical documentation and guidelines

Experience of the following:

• Working on and managing a production API
• Continuous Integration setup
• NodeJS, JavaScript ES6 & ES7
• TDD, BDD, Snapshot testing
• ExpressJS, Mongoose & MongoDB
• Mocha, Ava & Jest
• Agile, Trello, Slack & Git
• ReactJS & Webpack / React Native
• Angular 1 & Gulp
• Docker / Vagrant
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.
• Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
• Must have a desire for achieving excellence.
• Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (Agile) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
• Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members.
• Knowledge of internet and e-business processes, disciplines and standards.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
