Creating magical entertainment is at the heart of what we do at Mind Candy and we’re now developing several groundbreaking new products, one of which is Petlandia; where pets and pop culture collide; where cats dream of online stardom, Rottweilers rack up likes, Shih Tzus snap selfies and Pugs pose.

The role
We’re looking for an ambitious and talented Community Manager to join our team based at our HQ in London. We’re looking for someone who is an experienced Community Engagement Manager with a proven track record of remarkable and exemplary customer service. You must be an innovative, self-motivated and positive individual with an aptitude for playing an integral role within the Marketing team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Email marketing campaigns, from concept to execution
- Community management of our social channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube & Snapchat
- Providing excellent best practice customer service
- Responding to comments and customer queries in a professional and timely manner
- Monitoring and reporting on feedback from consumers
- Maintaining a consistent and positive relationship with our social communities
- Assisting with research for Marketing reports
- Engaging in consumer outreach to build brand communities and boost brand awareness
- Keeping up to date on all current trends to ensure that our brands are ahead of the curve
- Assistance of creating content marketing assets
- Support during events
- Communicating a consistent TOV across each brand's social channels
- Taking on additional projects, such as audience research, or other ad hoc requirements for the Marketing team
- Providing valuable insights into audiences and community behaviour

About You
- Provide additional support to the Marketing team across retention and new business outreach
- Bring the brand values to life and inspire the team through the campaign period
- Be living and breathing our social media channels; commenting, liking and generally getting our brands involved in the global social community
- Has a finger on the pulse with what’s buzzing in the children’s entertainment and pet industries
- Is sociable, fun and has a personality to reflect this
- Is not afraid of a challenge and is a quick learner
- Has initiative and not afraid to hit the ground running
- Be a team player
- Comprehensive knowledge of a range of social media channels
- Capable of writing in both formal and informal format

Essential Skills
- Proficiency in English language, reading and writing comprehension
- Self-motivated and self-managed individual
- Analytical skills using GA, Hootsuite, Locowise and Facebook Business Manager
- Knowledge of Mailchimp, Autopilot, AWeber or other similar email campaign platform
- Experience of Photoshop or other Adobe Suite skills
- Good judgment
- Computer literacy
- Excellent copywriting
- Results driven
- App Store community responses
- Video production and editing a bonus
