You will be working with the sales and engineering teams to communicate, educate and assist clients, sales staff and lighting designers in getting the most out of our LED bulbs. This will include presentations to internal and external sales staff, technical problem solving with customers facing issues, assisting lighting designers in their design and bulb selection and liaising with other members of the industry to maintain good working relationships and partnerships.

• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Work with customers post-sale to understand and offer solutions for any problems they might have.
• Provide technical assistance to lighting designers working on commercial projects. Produce product schedules and recommendations on system setup.
• Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Provide training and produce support material for the sales team and shop floor staff.
• We are a very hands on office, we will be designing and assembling multiple lighting and architectural installations throughout summer. You will get experience dealing with large suppliers and manufacturers in metalwork, glasswork, electronics as well as spending time in our workshop helping out to build installations.

• Sound understanding of LED lighting, home control systems and lighting design (lumens, lux, CRI, colour temperature)
• Strong interpersonal skills for understanding and reassuring clients.
• Strong communication skills to allow informative and compelling presentations and workshops to clients and shop floor staff on principles of LED lighting design and installation.
• Ability to problem solve on the spot. You will need to listen and understand a customer's wishes/problem and offer a suitable solution.
