LoyaltyLion was founded three years ago by Charlie (ex-Deloitte) and Dave (ex-Oracle). We spent 12 months doing some serious bootstrapping – using a friend’s lounge as an office, renting the cheapest accommodation (it had no bathroom!) and taking government loans to make LoyaltyLion a success. Happy to say it’s paying off.


LoyaltyLion is backed by ex-ASOS ecommerce director, the co-founder of the world’s largest loyalty program and two VCs. We power the loyalty programs for over 1,600 ecommerce stores worldwide and are currently in conversations with many of the UK’s best known retail brands.



Role


As our Lead Content Strategist you’ll be responsible for defining and managing the execution of our content marketing. We already attract over 30k visitors to our site each month. You will build on this success and position LoyaltyLion as thought leaders in digital loyalty.


Here are some of the activities you’ll be doing:


  • Devising and implementing a content strategy that combines on-page, blog, social, email and digital-outreach content, aligned to different audience groups and stages of the buyer journey
  • Defining process for content production and management
  • Overseeing said process to ensure our content is fresh, relevant and optimised
  • Closely tracking the impact of all marketing efforts
  • Writing and producing content to an excellent standard
  • Managing outsourced content producers where necessary
  • Stay on top of news and trends in the fields of ecommerce and loyalty, to scope out reactive content opportunities
  • Consistently looking for opportunities for content creation that will enhance growth


What we’re looking for


  • Minimum of 3 years marketing experience, preferably in a content production or management role
  • A solid understanding of SEO best practice consumer behaviour online
  • A strategic and creative thinker who knows how to utilise digital channels for growth
  • Experience writing and optimising digital content to an exceptional standard
  • Experience creating content for a B2B audience, with the ability to write successfully for the web to drive traffic and build engagement
  • An understanding of ecommerce and consumer behaviour
  • Exceptional attention to detail
