We have the best product in the world - Plants. At the moment, people can only get them by taking a day to go to an out of town garden centre where they have to pick their way through a cornucopia of different plant types. We are building an ecommerce experience to address that to help people choose what is right for their space and then delivering it
This is a really exciting time to join Patch as we move into a larger warehouse and implement a new, fully digitalised order and inventory management system to help us breeze through the increasing order volumes.

This paid internship is a crash-course in the operational complexities of a fast-growing, ecommerce disruptor, focusing on both the process and customer side of ops.
Reporting to the Head of Operations. you will gain hands-on experience of driving customer NPS, bringing down fulfilment costs, supply chain management and helping to transition the business to different operating models as Patch scales.
Strong attention to detail is key, as well as a willingness to get your hands dirty (literally) in the warehouse when needed, to make sure we overcome any difficulties that small start-ups inevitably experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Making sure Orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly,
Customer communications, feedback analysis, and reporting on these,
Procurement from suppliers and supply chain management,
Provide opportunities to cut spending and streamline processes,
Forecasting volumes, and expenses,
Provide data analysis and metrics for stakeholders,
Aid cross-functional process improvements with management and Product Managers,
Ability to identify issues and create a clear plan to resolution,
Comfortable making data-based recommendations to senior leadership.


PROFILE

1+ year of experience within Operations / Logistics at a digital business,
Educated to Degree level in an analytical, quantitative discipline,
Proficient in using Excel to analyse, organise and track inventories, suppliers,
Contribution to successful projects, in a fast-paced environment,
Strong organisational and communication skills,
Naturally curious and capable of suggesting improvements to existing processes.
