The Talent Manager is a leading recruitment platform for the UK’s TV, Film and Media sector. We provide broadcasters and production companies with a secure talent database to track freelancers and manage current vacancies, and give freelancers the space to showcase their work and connects with other industry professionals.

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to join our team as we branch into new sectors and launch our first app. This is a really exciting time to come on board and help shape the future of the company, with the opportunity to grow your role as we expand.

Our small team is based in Shoreditch, London, where we share office space with our sister company DV Talent.

Responsibilities:

• Establish new client leads and develop new business opportunities
• Manage new clients to grow, upsell and renew accounts
• Build up strong, in-depth product knowledge
• Provide guidance to educate clients on the features and benefits of our service
• Work with senior management to review and create new pricing structures
• Create tailored promotions and offers through marketing campaigns
• Represent the company at new business meetings, events and tradeshows
• Provide feedback of market trends and customer activity to help drive product development
• Build partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with relevant organisations
• Where needed, provide help and support to existing customers

Experience & Skills:

• 3 + years working with B2B clients in a sales / marketing / account management capacity
• Experience working within the recruitment or job board industry in a new business role
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills with clients at all levels
• Passion for selling and achieving targets
• Confident and professional telephone manner, with the ability to build rapport
• Excellent communication skills
• A self starter with the ability to prioritise work under pressure
• Working knowledge of marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
• Ability to build up and maintain a customer database / CRM system

It would be great if you also have the following:

• Experience working in a SaaS, subscription and/or tech environment
• Knowledge of or a strong interest in the media / television / film industry
• Experience growing brand recognition and reaching goals using social media, blogs, SEO, PPC, Adwords or email campaigns
