We're a young, fast growing Enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company backed by some incredible angel investors. We have huge ambitions that rely on growing a profitable base of long-term enterprise clients – and that’s where you come in.

Based in our new Shoreditch office, you’ll take over from the CEO in owning Sales at Sideways 6. As a true commercial partner to the CEO, you’ll influence overall company strategy and build on our fantastic existing client base by building a winning go-to-market strategy, enterprise sales process and sales team. ‘The number’ is your responsibility – and that should excite you.

With your team of SDRs/AEs, you’ll be responsible for creating and closing opportunities at large corporate around the world, as well as working with the CEO and Customer Success team on up-sell and renewal strategies to grow revenues from existing clients. We have a couple of years of experience in doing this to date, but you’ll be responsible for working with the marketing and product team to put the structure, strategy and collateral in place to supercharge new client acquisition.

You’ll also be leading a small but growing team and will be responsible for training, coaching and managing them to consistently meet or beat expectations to ensure that they’re fulfilled, well-compensated and improving and moving forwards in their careers.

THE ROLE
- Own the sales process and results at Sideways 6
- Manage a growing team (currently 3) of sales professionals to consistently bringing in profitable engagements with new clients
- Work with the CEO and other leaders in the business to define go-to-market strategy including pricing, acquisition and retention/up-sell strategies
- Responsible for comp plans, forecasting etc.
- Map out the skills in the sales team; train existing team members to improve and identify gaps to hire new team members
- Recruit, hire and train new salespeople (SDRs, AES, +) to meet and exceed our revenue targets

REQUIREMENTS-
- 5-10 years sales experience with sales leadership experience
- Experience in Enterprise SaaS sales, selling 6 figure software as a service deals with lengthy sales cycles and multiple client stakeholders
- Experience working in a startup selling to enterprise clients
- Ability to switch between the strategic and hands-on side of leading sales at an enterprise startup
- Exceptional written English
- Knowledge of industry tools (Lead gen, CRM, Lead scoring, etc.)
- Relevant experience
