TRIBEUR is a new curated online marketplace that connects independent brands from emerging markets with shoppers around the world. We encourage sustainable choices and value exclusive pieces and craftsmanship by linking brands to a global audience.

Our mission: Redefining luxury through an appreciation of handcrafted and beautiful objects that tell their own authentic stories from around the world.

Created in London in 2017, the business is reviewing its retail offering and aims to attract brands producing across Africa and beyond. The attractiveness of the market is high and we are convinced, that within 5 years, sustainable fashion will become almost standard. We need new talents, to support us in our development.

We look for:
A Co-founder and Ecommerce Marketing expert working hand in hand together with the CEO

You will be responsible for:

• Delivery of the digital marketing and online PR strategy by creating and implementing campaigns that will drive footfall to the company websites, sales conversion, increase customer retention and develop campaign specific landing pages.

• Responsible for the day-to-day development and maintenance of all company website, working closely with external providers to ensure the brand message is consistent across all online platforms.

• Day to day running of digital communications including email marketing and social media.

• Execution of campaigns across all digital channels including SEO and PPC.

• Implementation of new digital marketing initiatives.

• Champion customer needs by identifying and analysing customer types, maintaining in house systems and delivering a platform for an excellent customer experience.

• Participate and deliver relevant key performance indicators, tactical plans and projects to ensure company strategic goals are achieved.

• Support all other Marketing activities and any other sales duties as required.

Required qualifications:

You are a dynamic entrepreneur who is interested in working in a start-up. This job is an opportunity for an ambitious professional; experience with ecommerce and online account management looking for their next challenge. You are able to work and adapt to an environment in constant evolution and in a growing organization. You should have a good background in ecommerce either in managerial position or as an executive. Working experience of search engine marketing including PPC and SEO and Google Analytics or a similar package. Working understanding of UV and the customer journey, a passion for traffic conversion and customer retention.

Special Skills

You must be professional, have a high degree of initiative, be commercially focused and have the ability to relate to and understand all areas of the business.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including strong copywriting skills.
You need to demonstrate and lead by the company values.

Salary: equity option
This is a cofounder position where you’d play a huge role in the future growth and positioning of the company. Because of this, we are willing to offer some equity to the right person and a proper salary if we successfully raise investment. The quality of the founding team is critical to the future success of our startup!

Time commitment
At this stage, sales are not coming in on a daily basis so a commitment to a few hours per week (max 8) should be enough. We place a great deal on cultural fit as you’ll be working with us intimately and we’ll trust you with the very core of our “big ideas”.
