Senior Full Stack Developer

at Joyride in London

We are building large scale mobile application along with a web Admin Dashboard. The Mobile App tracks users geolocation, connects to bluetooth devices, has maps and gives directions, takes payments and a lot more (the app is far from being a website ported to mobile). The Admin Dashboard manages all user activity (tracking, payments, billing, communications, help desk, stats, reports etc etc). Both products connect to a Laravel 5 REST API that hooks into a MySql relational Database. We are looking for an all round full stack developer to help our small team build new features into the Web App and API

We are looking for someone who is experienced in building highly functioning apps that manage lots of data. Our web app is built in EmberJS and as mentioned the API is build in Laravel 5. We also have a TCP socket server that is managing multiple non blocking connections and you get extra bonus point if you have experience here.

From candidates, we would like to see a portfolio of your apps that you have made yourself in EmberJs, and also see evidence of your work with Laravel 5 and APIs, along with the creation and use of MySql Databases.

Skill Set

  • TCP non blocking sockets
  • Deamon Processing/Programming
  • ReactPHP
  • PHP
  • MySql
  • Linux Apache2

Initially this Jobs is for 4 weeks (with an immediate start) but could be for a lot longer if the successful candidate is able to help us create a product of high quality.

Please submit a list of links to apps that you have build along with any required login credentials , so that we can take a look at them. Please also attach your CV (and any links to online profiles that will help us know more about you and your abilities). Please submit your rate (and if possible a rough quote) along with your application.

This is a virtual and temporary freelance position. Recruiters will be ignored.
