You’re going to be selling. From the beginning of the process (lead sourcing) to the “to be continued” part (account management) you will be involved in all aspects of the sales cycle. You will make more money than your friends, if you’re a fast learner and work hard.

You; in full:
You’re confident, smart and organised… but not boring, never boring.
You can’t be afraid of getting on the phone and making noise in the office, you’re a hard worker who has tenacity and enthusiasm for; 1. making money and 2. seeing a business grow because of what you have done. You don’t need to care about tech but you do need to have a passion for being successful, your role is going to have a lot of scope for growth and if you’re good, you could be making a lot of money, as well as having your own team under you in the not-too-distant future. You need to be able to think on your feet without getting flustered and have a lot of ambition.
You’re sociable, outgoing and don’t shy away from a good night out if one is on the cards.
If you’ve got sales experience then great, but that’s not a deal breaker.

Scott and I are both in our 20s and come from a background, working in large companies and, as a result, hate everything and anything that even comes close to representing corporate working environments.
We were mates before we started working together and are looking for people who fit in well socially, just as much as they can do the job. We very much operate a “work hard, play hard” ethos.
We’re in the early days but both have massive ambitions for this company and will do what it takes to get it to where we want it to go, which is why we need a strong team to support us.
I’m Sam and am the Head of Sales & Development. I have over 10 years experience in new business sales, including extensive training and management experience.
Scott is the Founder & CEO and comes from a financial background. He left the corporate world to start ResponseiQ and is an incredibly hard worker, leading by example.
We’ve also got three new, but key, members of the sales team, who match our description to a T and which we’re looking to add to.

The Job; in full:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be an integral part of ResponseiQ’s growth. This is a fully supported role with a huge amount of training, but you will also have the freedom to make the role yours.
Whilst we have a large database of companies on our CRM, your role will also be to hunt out companies we can work with, discover new prospects and reach out to them using any means necessary. You will primarily be cold calling and emailing, you’ll be on the phone a lot, so you can’t be shy. Once you’ve got a prospect’s attention you will be arranging and conducting online demonstrations of our technology in action, including how it works behind-the-scenes and, once they’re hooked, you’ll be supporting them through their free trial, leading up to closing them as a new customer. You will then be their shoulder to lean on, should they need one, and will act as their account manager, moving forward. You will be managing your own leads on our CRM system and will need to have an excellent grasp of your own pipeline.
