Driftrock was started with the aim of making advertising through social channels better. There’s no excuse for being chased around the internet by images of products you’ve already bought. It’s irritating for the end user and counterproductive for the company attempting to sell their products or services. Using our tooling marketers can refine their targeting such that the ads are only shown to people who have shown genuine interest.

Businesses like BMW, eCornell and Heineken trust us to help bridge online to offline and prove the ROI of their online marketing strategies. We are proud to be badged marketing partners of Facebook and LinkedIn. We also work closely with Twitter, Snap and Pinterest. In addition to our software, we provide social media management, consultancy and migration services.


We are currently looking for a Business Development Representative who will play an essential role in our client team, supporting the directors on a day-to-day basis and helping to generate business growth. You will be tasked with generating leads, booking calls or meetings for senior executives, targeting new prospects and eventually closing your own deals. You will be self-driven to achieve goals in a start-up environment and aspire to sales leadership within this division.

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll need to:
. Uncover sales opportunities, generating warm leads, and booking calls or meetings for the senior executives;
. Daily outbound prospecting, in the form of emails and calls;
. Maintain an accurate report of prospecting activity using Hubspot and Intercom;
. Understand the needs of your business customers and build good working relationships;
. Research the market and related products (both the Facebook/social ecosystem and vertical of your clients);
. Present the product or service favourably and in a structured professional way face-to-face an over VC;
. Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale;
. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
. Respond to incoming email, leads and phone enquiries;
. Effectively manage potential client objections;
. Advise on forthcoming product developments that fit your clients’ needs;
. Liaise internally with product teams to ensure that product delivery timeframes are adhered to;
. Review your own performance, and with your manager, aiming to meet or exceed targets;


We’re a small 15 people at Driftrock but we’re growing. We had two new account executives join in the last 3 months and are also looking for an Account Director. As we are a small team, every decision you make has a big impact, and we all have the chance to shape and create the culture and company as we grow.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized with excellent relationship and communication skills. You will be an inspirational team-player, interacting positively with senior internal and external stakeholders. You certainly won’t be afraid to get stuck in, are excited by the prospect to earn uncapped commission and will thrive on the challenges the role presents:

. Previous sales experience required (minimum 2 years);
. Outbound cold calling experience advantageous;
. Excellent telephone skills and manner;
. Excellent presentation and communication skills;
. Customer focused individual with the ability to work effectively in a team working towards corporate objectives;
. Good all round PC and Microsoft office knowledge;
. Professional and “can‐do” attitude;
. Comfortable in a fast‐paced and constantly evolving environment;
