What you'll do:
• Customer service and front desk support
• Execute opening and closing duties for facility
• Contribute to maintaining an exceptional startup & partner experience, including communication with startups through Slack
• Facility Maintenance and Upkeep - building walkthroughs, checklist reporting
• Execute event setup and teardown, and other operational requirements as needed with limited supervision
• Overseeing event execution during community events and workshops
• Oversee catering orders for workshops and special events
• Set up/Clean up of all food and beverage + hospitality
• Basic understanding of audio/visual technical management during workshops and special events
Technical Requirements:
• A flare for customer service and a dedication to excellence!
• Previous experience in event execution is a plus
• Experience in hospitality or the food and beverage industry (considered an asset)
• Experience/passion for working with startups is a plus!
• Experience working in a public facility
Required Availability:
• Available Monday to Friday 8am-2pm
• Open to extra hours/shifts with paid overtime
• This is a part time position at 30 hours per week (6 hrs/day)
