We offer a peer to peer travel money platform enabling travellers to swap currencies directly with each other – avoiding banks and corporates allowing us to offer the best rates on travel money. We currently have around 300,000 users and have swapped £100 million since the start of our journey. WeSwap’s iOS and Android apps help customers to budget for their holidays and spend their travel money across the world from Australia to the USA. As a key member of the WeSwap Engineering team you will work with a talented and enthusiastic team to build exciting new products and features using cutting edge tech. You’ll get to work on new developments to our platform and features and you’ll have a direct influence on the tools and techniques the teams use.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of in house and external QAs to deliver WeSwap’s various product strategies
  • Collaborate with the development and product teams to define, execute and report our test strategy
  • Report test covereage, required resources, test results & defects discovered
  • Implement and drive our automation strategy
  • Coach testers on industry best practices such as exploratory testing
  • Support teams with gathering relevant edge cases
  • Create Test Plans for each feature including; risk assessment, resource planning, scope of testing, measurement of progress etc
  • Bug triage process
  • Establish and maintain test strategy using best practices
  • Alignment of plan with stakeholders
  • Establish release process and champion continuous integration


Experience

  • Computer Science or related degree/education
  • 5+ years in QA, working in an Agile development environment
  • 2+ years experience in leading QA Teams
  • 2+ years experience in Test automation
  • Demonstrable understanding of testing in a micro-service architecture
  • Experience with common testing tools
  • Experience writing BDD frameworks
  • Experience in agile development environments
