What does my job role look like?

- Design and bring to life best-in-class user experiences and visual design across all customer segments of the Sideways 6 app
-Collaborate with product management, client success, clients, and other stakeholders, to define the product architecture, visuals and experience
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Develop a design language of the app in line with the Sideways 6 brand style guidelines
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Assist and collaborate with the marketing team to create collateral for web and print designs

What do I need to be good/excellent at?

- Proven UX/UI experience building products that customers love to use (SaaS a plus)
- Experience breaking down large projects into components to be developed and released independently through an agile development process
- Have an eye for clean and artful design, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
- Proven ability to efficiently prioritize work and weigh the pros and cons and cost and benefits of different designs, backed by research and data
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and prototypes
- Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, or similar tools
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
