About the role

Reporting to the Head of People, the People Manager will support the people team with a balance of 50/50 HR & Recruitment. The role will focus on all HR matters and work alongside the People Coordinator on recruitment, from sourcing to offer stage, as we enter a high growth stage of the business. You will excel at optimising people processes and love using data to effect change, you will also have a compassionate and human approach to HR and Recruitment and significant experience in both.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing the HR function including performance management process, promotions, salary benchmarking and grievances and disciplinaries
• Taking ownership of and implementing HR tools and software
• Assisting with administration of company benefits such as pension scheme and EMI share options among others
• Full recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer
• Conducting exit interviews
• Managing and updating all HR, Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Assisting with ISO and GDPR compliance
• Ensuring that the company complies with up to date employment law and liaising with lawyers when appropriate

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in HR & Recruitment
• CIPD qualification or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
• Solid understanding of UK employment laws, regulations and best practices
• Compassionate approach to HR
• Commercially minded and able to consider the big picture
