It’s Mother’s Day this weekend, and mums? We love you. You need a week (month?… year?) to celebrate all that you do. It’s really no surprise that FemTech has benefited from all the useful technology for mums.

Today - for the mums, entrepreneurs, and start-up enthusiasts - we're going to cover some of my favourite startups with mothering related products. The cherry on top? They will all be founded by mums because let’s be honest, they really are superheroes in disguise.

Elvie

A startup founded by Tania Boler in 2013 that has, to-date, raised a total of £70 million. Elvie produces, among other things, the ‘holy-grail’ of breast pumps and mums seem to love it. She’s a mum of two but still dedicates a lot of time to the Elvie brand.

This Mum Runs

A startup with mums at the heart. Founded by Mel Bound, after her own struggles as a mother, this startup aims to provide a community for struggling mums around the globe. It has raised more than £4 million in the last four years - that's impressive stuff!

WOOM

This one really seems like magic. An app that uses an algorithm to give you a fertility probability percentage each day! Founded by two women, one of whom has 3 children, this startup appears to be the future of fertility.
