Welcome to recovery week. In case you have been one of the lucky people attending this year's Glastonbury festival we hope you had a bloody good time and for this week - hang in there! No doubt it was a very special event as the first festival held since Covid with legendary performances from Paul McCartney, Kendrik Lamar and Diana Ross to name a few. But it also wouldn't be Glasto without political statements - first and foremost Russia's invasion into the Ukraine but equally the US' supreme court abortion ruling and even Greta Thunberg made an appearance.

None of this would be feasible without an immense effort of people working year round to make the biggest festival in the world happen. This means that Glasto does create a lot of jobs but how do you get in?

We managed to speak to a couple of people working at this year's event. From Greenpeace staff aiming to close the funding gap that 2 years of festival pause has caused for them due to Covid - to a guy who's only job was to organise and bring fake meat to decorate the outside of Shangri La's famous club block 9. As intense as it was, all of them seem to love working at Worthy Farm and called it a special experience.

Don't want to rely on the ballot to get in?

For more information on how to snap up one of those rare job opportunities including festival ticket see more info on the Glastonbury website here
