About the Role

We are looking to make our first finance hire to join our fast-growing team as we begin to rapidly scale up our business. This role will be responsible for managing the company’s finances at an operational level whilst providing analysis and support to the team to inform business strategy across all departments.

Reporting directly to the Founders, this is a vital role in the growth of our business operations and will have a significant impact on shaping the future of Noah.

Key Projects

  • Overhaul our existing forecast and cashflow
  • Implement easy to follow financial processes across the business
  • Coordinate departmental budgets with Founders

Responsibilities (Day to Day)

  • Financial planning - Budgeting, forecasting, pricing and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Maintain P&L, BS, and Cash Flow Reporting
  • Oversight of the day-to-day running of finance to complete payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, UK VAT returns, among others.
  • Preparing Month-end and Year-end accounts
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our finance function
  • Support the founders and other departments in the decision-making process with data, analysis and reporting



About you

What we’re looking for

  • Fully Qualified (ACA / CIMA / ACC)
  • 2+ years experience in Finance roles within startups or small businesses, ideally eCommerce, retail, tech or manufacturing 
  • Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills (highly capable Excel / Google Sheets)
  • Significant exposure to using Xero

Nice to have

  • Eager to explore coding and tools to automate financials processes in excel or google sheets
  • Experience with the google workspace and google sheets in particular
  • Experience reporting to key stakeholders

Salary Range:
We are flexible based on experience and in addition, we offer comprehensive share options for our founding team.
