    We’re looking for an experienced, ambitious and pragmatic Finance Officer to join the Springpod team and lead our Finance department, as we continue to expand. You will take ownership of the financial framework, providing assistance both internally and externally.


     


    We support some of the most exciting companies in the World, including Airbus, the NHS, Jaguar Land Rover, Cancer Research UK, Vodafone, BT, Fujitsu, Fidelity and many more. We also work with hundreds of education institutions across the UK, with a view to expand internationally in 2021. 


     


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING


    Working closely with all elements of Springpod, you will be responsible for running the finance function on a daily basis and providing hands on support to the management team. 


     


    Within your role, you'll be:




    • Managing daily income/expenditure, including subscription monitoring and continuous accounts reconciliation.




    • Working closely with the Sales team to create, send and monitor quotes, contracts and invoices.




    • Assessing and improving internal and external procurement processes.




    • Running payroll for contractors and team.




    • Managing grant applications and awards




    • Providing commercial analysis on financial reports, providing key performance insight to business leaders.




    • Finance business partnering responsibilities with the operational teams, providing financial insight and assessment to bids and tenders.




     


    ABOUT YOU




    • ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified




    • 3+ years of Financial Management experience/knowledge




    • 2+ years of experience in a similar standalone/senior role




    • Excellent stakeholder management skills




    • Strong communication skills




    • Strong technical skills, ideally with experience of platforms including Xero, Hubdoc and Revolut.




    • High level of personal integrity and ability to remain independent.
