Our client is a global network, created to ‘change the black narrative’ by bringing the black professional global community together to solve problems through economic empowerment and connectivity. They are excellently positioned to bridge the gap between the black professional community and corporations. Today they have over 50,000 members, launched a mobile and web platform, run offline and online events to up-skill the community, have a job board and have worked with 60+ corporate clients. They are currently looking for other passionate and determined team members to join them.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic Global Ambassador Program Manager to be the face and lead the Ambassador function. As a successful candidate, you will be representing the brand in various capacities. To excel in this role, you will have excellent communication, networking skills and the ability to build a database of networks and well as training and developing a team. Previous experience as a Global Brand Ambassador or a similar role is strongly desired.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, deliver and where required present the Global Ambassador strategy
  • Lead, grow and manage the Global Ambassador program
  • Recruit and manage Global Ambassadors, Country Ambassadors and Ambassadors
  • Provide training and resources to equip the Ambassador Team to increase global visibility of the Network
  • Help coordinate events for the Ambassadors
  • Carry out webinar training sessions & monthly meetings with the Ambassadors
  • Devise innovative growth strategies for the Ambassador program
  • Represent the brand positively in a multitude of professional and social settings
  • Reporting and tracking progress and outcomes of Ambassador program
  • Liaise with various internal departments to increase brand awareness worldwide
  • Create & manage a database of networks and corporations
  • Create packages and proposals to send to organizations and event hosts
  • Providing feedback and insight on new products and services

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven work experience as a Global Ambassador Manager or Associate Ambassador Manager
  • Well organised with excellent project management skills
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Can work in an organized way under pressure, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Good confident communicator with excellent manners and positive attitude
  • Start to finish attitude, willing to learn and achieving results
  • Able to proactively manage and organise work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent team player, willing to regularly share knowledge and expertise
  • Be enthusiastic, ambitious, honest and hardworking
