We’re an early-stage B2B SaaS company looking for a passionate CTO to join us! You’ll be working closely alongside Co-Founders, Rosie & Raj to grow the business and lead on all things technical. 
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join us at an exciting point in our journey: we’re a lean team demonstrating significant traction across multiple industries, we’re closing out a fundraise, and we’ll be growing the team with several new hires in Q2 this year. 
 
Technologies used
  • New tech stack: Slack app + dashboard, built with React and Node, running on AWS
  • Legacy tech:  Laravel web app + dashboard

  • Senior - expert
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years experience in a growth stage tech or similar business, where you have progressed quickly and shown potential to step into a leadership position 
  • Able and excited to work as part of a small, remote, team. Comfortable translating code into product maps and setting strategy, know when to spend the time doing it right and when to hack it together
  • Experience architecting and building modern web applications
  • Excellent full-stack JavaScript skills, primarily with React and Node
  • Able to build a robust and secure web infrastructure with AWS
  • Dedicated to learning. Learning from the founders, but also leading on what the company needs to be stronger on as we grow. For example, security is of paramount importance to our tech stack, and we would expect you to learn and educate us about best practise as we progress.

 

  • Desirable - experience with slack apps, internal or public
  • Desirable - experience building data dashboards or working with large datasets
  • Desirable - good understanding of UX and comfortable doing some basic work on UI
  • Desirable - familiar with the concepts of privacy, anonymity and security
What the job involves: 
  • Take ownership of the technical direction, prioritisation and roadmap for us to achieve our product vision
  • Lead the development of our platform, core infrastructure and feature rollout
  • Work closely with our Co-Founders to prioritise and build user requirements into our product within an agile environment
  • Lead and recruit the dev team as we grow
  • Review code built by previous consultants to ensure it is fit for purpose, including reviewing the tech stack, application architecture and ensuring a scalable infrastructure
