Sales Executive (Outbound B2B)

As part of our amazing sales team, you will be responsible for identifying high-growth online businesses before reaching out to educate them about the benefits of funding through Outfund.

As an ideal candidate you will be highly motivated, organised and proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to develop strong relationships with soon-to-be clients. A passion for sales, drive to succeed and the ability to self-originate will be key, as you will be managing your own pipeline, giving excellent customer service whilst acting as a trusted consultant.


Role responsibilities:

  • Sourcing target companies across a range of online business sectors including those in
    e-commerce, SaaS and subscriptions
  • Reaching out via phone, email and other methods to engage and correspond with target
  • Leveraging outbound channels to generate interest and qualify prospects
  • Developing relationships, taking targets from the cold point of engagement through to onboarding
  • Deeply understanding Outfund’s unique funding solution to accurately educate business owners and CEO’s on it’s value, whilst relating that to the prospects specific challenges and needs
  • Managing your own time and pipeline, swiftly moving prospects through the sales lifecycle
  • Working with the credit team to communicate requests for additional documents and information from clients
  • Answering queries, resolving any issues and keeping clients well-informed
  • Staying curious about the finance industry and showing a strong understanding of business
    finance to enable you to have informed conversations with clients
  • Providing a warm, slick and professional experience
  • Feeding any roadblocks back to the wider-team


Our dream candidate:

  • 2+ years experience in a targeted sales environment (preferably B2B within the SME or finance
  • A passion for sales and a love of speaking to CEO’s/business owners
  • Relentless work ethic and highly self-motivated to deliver
  • Demonstrable history of developing new business relationships and achieving sales goals
  • A strong understanding of (or ability to learn) how business finance works, and the aptness to
    speak to clients in their own industry terms
  • Comfortable in an ambitious, fast-paced startup environment
  • Confident, focused and enthusiastic
  • The capability to adapt to change. We are a young business so you will be getting your hands
    dirty, contributing to the overall development of Outfund to help ensure success for everyone!
