Roles and Responsibilities:
- Contact by telephone appropriate executives to ensure they are aware of future events, selling the benefits of attending and securing registrations.
- Engage with existing clients to secure ongoing meeting attendance.
- Recruit new clients and helping to develop lasting relationships.
- Maintain knowledge of industry personnel changes and key issues in all markets in which the business operates to be able to provide the best knowledge to clients.
- Work towards individual key performance indicators and revenue targets
- Excellent verbal and written skills required.
- Needs to be highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
- Excellent team working skills.
- Work with the Business Director to demonstrate ongoing personal development and work progress
Person Specification:
- Confident, articulate and driven to succeed
- Ability to communicate effectively and fluently in English
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure
- Determined, resilient and self-motivated
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience within B2B sales ideally within corporate event sponsorship
- Proven track record of delivery against revenue and other KPI targets
- Experience in development of new business
- Ability to generate own leads and comfortable preparing and making high volumes of outbound calls per day.
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with your client base
