Now, we're scaling up rapidly through 2021 and 2022. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to build out your personal network in the startup community. This role might suit someone keen to break into venture capital, or alternatively, somebody at a venture capital fund looking to move into an operating role to accelerate their career.

    Role Overview 🚀

    • Build and leverage a growing network of startups, VCs, incubators, accelerators.
    • Connect with founders that have recently been funded or going through funding rounds with angels and seed investors.
    • Be active in the startup ecosystem as an ambassador of including attending online and live events.
    • Pitch and close recruiting deals with startups and scale-ups across EMEA.
    • Facilitate briefing calls with your new clients and our recruiters.
    • Help coordinate project delivery with the recruiting team to win repeat business and referrals
    • Track progress and manage a pipeline of leads in Hubspot

    • Drive innovation, one hire at a time with the hottest startups around the world who have secured significant funding and are set for rapid growth ( clients have usually secured at least USD 1 million in funding or equivalent in annual revenue).

    About you

    • Ability to hold conversations with founding teams as a like-minded entrepreneur.
    • You have a proven track record of winning startup clients in the UK and/or other countries across EMEA.
    • You're passionate and persistent in sales and enjoy working towards ambitious targets.
    • You have an active network in the early-stage startup/investment community which you can leverage from day 1.
    • You already have an extensive network of contacts on Linkedin and you post regularly.
    • You have exceptional English and written communication skills.
    • You're obsessed with quality and supporting your team to get results.
    • Interest in innovation, Lean startup, and growth.
    • You are coachable and receptive to receiving feedback from team members.
    • Working knowledge of a CRM such as Hubspot,

    Preferred skills and experience:

    • You have experience in a venture capital fund, accelerator, crowdfunding platform, incubator or family office (or similar). Or, you may have a proven track record of selling solutions into VC’s and have a deep understanding of the EMEA startup / VC ecosystem & how startups are funded.
    • Knowledge of email campaign management and sales funnels.
