About Us

Our TechDotX platforms are comprehensive online resources helping to connect and support growing technology ecosystems around the world. Currently running platforms in New York, London, Washington DC and Boston, TechDotX is recruiting a Content & Community Manager to support the digital delivery of our platforms as we continue to scale our ecosystems around the world. 

 

About You

We are looking for a dynamic and an in-the-know individual to oversee platforms in selected key locations, manage content commissioning and daily content updates, liaise with the city authorities in these locations, grow the ecosystem and user base of the platform, and act as a motivated brand evangelist at key events, trade shows, conferences within the tech scene.

 

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, able to handle upper-level relationships in both the government and private sectors. Having a genuine passion for and relationships within the startup/tech scene.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Leading on the delivery of digital platforms in key ecosystems
  • Commissioning and editing original content covering the tech scene in key locations
  • Serving as the primary curator for the platform including daily monitoring, supervision, and moderation of all content and community enquiries
  • Owning, reporting on and analysing site performance, using these insights to improve key metrics
  • Growing and managing our ecosystem communities. Developing and implementing a community strategy for the platforms, working on outreach and engagement campaigns to build relationships
  • Securing and maintaining key strategic relationships within the city’s scene 
  • Running digital marketing channels promoting the community, content, and partnerships
  • Building meaningful community, PR and industry – both private and public – relationships
  • Embedding yourself in the community to promote awareness of the platform and drive user acquisition
  • Working with partners to produce and support key events, including event design and on-site implementation
  • Capturing product feedback from the community to optimise the product

 

Previous skills & experience:

  • 3+ years’ relevant work experience
  • A background in quality content productions
  • Experience in community building and partnerships
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and passion for the innovation, tech and startup industries
  • Experience of building and growing an audience and improving engagement metrics
  • Experience of working in a tech business and/or startup environment would be ideal
