Who are we?
Our mission is to create a revolutionary pre-employment assessment platform that helps firms increase their recruitment efficiency. Having completed 100s of assessments provided by current testing services and talked to a number of interested, potential clients, we believe there is a huge opportunity to disrupt this market and challenge the status quo.
Our assessment suite aims to be interactive, visually-engaging & computer-adaptive and will offer both general aptitude (e.g. numerical, verbal, memory) and subject specific (e.g. programming aptitude, modelling, accounting principles) assessments.
The founding team (CEO & COO) is currently made up of two Cambridge University alumni.
Where are we in our journey?
We are an early-stage pre-seed startup looking to build an MVP and conduct a pilot testing phase with a few selected clients to better understand their needs and validate our idea. As of now, we have conducted extensive research on the top competitors in the industry, created initial designs and received interest from a few companies. We feel we are now ready to build the product and hope to launch in the next few months.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic CTO / Software Engineer to join us on our journey. We need someone who can proactively identify the best technologies, take charge of platform development, make key decisions on technical architecture and solutions and in the future, build and shape the technical/dev team.
- Proactive and driven!
- An experienced software developer/engineer, preferably someone who has previously worked in a successful product-centric company
- Strong full-stack development skills
- Outstanding communication skills and an ability to talk about complex ideas to investors and clients
- Preferably, someone who has had exposure to pre-employment assessments, either as a candidate or employer
- Ideally London/UK based
- Interesting contacts including potential clients and investors
What can we offer?
Initially, this will be an equity-only, unpaid role. We aim to offer equity dependant on experience (not age!)/level of involvement and a salaried role once we have acquired funding.
