Hey, I'm Oli, founder of Collate. We are a pre-launch start-up looking to mitigate the news and social media shitstorm we live in by building an online forum for long-form written conversations between the public and political, cultural and intellectual leaders. It’s like if Twitter and Letters to the Editor had a baby!
I’m looking for a kind, street smart and well-organised student to join us as an intern for 4-8 weeks as we launch the first version of our product. We have raised pre-seed capital, our v1 is in production and we have multiple campaigns in the pipeline for our product launch. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in entrepreneurship to see how the sausage is made across a business at the earliest point in a company’s life.
Being London based is preferred but this role is open to anyone able to work remotely and remain contactable between 9am-6pm BST. The role will include:
- Developing social media channels: developing and testing different strategies, copywriting and post scheduling.
- Managing beta users: selecting who from a waiting list to onboard, initiating communication with users and managing any issues they might have.
- Outreach/sales to VIPs we want to onboard to the platform.
- Administrative tasks related to marketing plans and business operations.
As an optional side-project, you’ll be given a sizeable budget with total freedom to come up with a marketing campaign, feature idea, widget, system - anything really - that can help move the business forward. We want to offer you a fun opportunity to develop your entrepreneurial skills.
There is potential to extend this internship and/or see it develop into a full-time role if all goes well. Check out our landing page for more information (collate.org).
We look forward to hearing from you!
