What is Syndi?
At Syndi, we’re building an innovative new digital health platform to change the way we measure and self-manage invisible disabilities, starting with mental illness.
Our mission is to build the world’s most accessible healthcare monitoring platform that gives people the power to care for themselves.
Our technology is revolutionising how precision data is utilised to personalise the healthcare pathway because no two patients are the same. Founded within Entrepreneur First in 2020, Syndi has recently secured funding that enables its first core team members to be hired.
What are we looking for?
Reporting directly to our CTO, we are looking for someone to lead the development of the front-end and back-end across our two products in a test-driven manner, working closely with the product management team. You should be a well-organised and experienced developer passionate about using software to support peoples’ mental wellbeing.
We're looking for senior developers with several years' experience developing reliable software systems, who can handle the responsibility of building software that is classified as a medical device and that will be used by patients.
The ideal candidate is familiar with several of the following technologies:
- AWS DynamoDB
- AWS Lambda
- Serverless Framework
Previous experience working in healthcare technology and smartphone sensor monitoring is a plus.
Where will you work?
- We have an office space in Central London near Old Street, but we can be flexible with location and remote work is possible.

Job Types: Permanent, full-time contract
Salary: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year + stock options (negotiable)
