We are a start up team of three, developing a new method for visualising products online, using 3D photography:
We create 3D photographs for our customers & provide a cloud based 3D photo viewer (link above) for displaying the 3D photos online. We are also developing a solution for customers to create 3D photos in house without needing to ship their products to us.
We are looking for a mechanical engineer to join our team. Our current team consists of Dawid, our CTO, Tim who oversees sales and marketing & Marc who oversees product development among other things.
We've successfully completed beta testing and now have our first paying customers. We also have a healthy & growing waiting list. However, there is a lot of work to be done in order for us to scale successfully & we've reached a point where we feel that adding a third member to our team is crucial to our success.
Who we hope you'll be:
-Someone who understands our business and can become as passionate as us to make it succeed.
-A hands-on mechanical engineer comfortable with designing and building.
-Someone proficient with CAD design who is able to create drawings/models that are ready for manufacturing.
-Someone who has the ability to initially put in 15+ hours a week
-Someone preferably with experience in talking with suppliers, manufacturers & vendors.
-Someone based in the UK who is able to work remotely but with the ability to meet up with us in person on occasion.
The role and responsibilities:
-Creating a road map for the development of our image capture system & overseeing its development.
-Creatively problem solving and designing solutions to enable automation and elevate the image capture process.
-Doing everything and anything to make the business succeed.
-Leading the creation of the above & delegating where necessary, as well as eventually managing a team.
What we can offer:
What we are offering is a fair (and negotiable) equity split, & then a salary when we either reach our funding goals or start turning a profit.
If the above sounds interesting, we'd love to hear from you.
