Indeed Flex has begun its US expansion. Starting in Austin, Dallas, and Houston, Indeed Flex has recently expanded to San Antonio and Atlanta, GA.

The Role

The Flexer Experience Manager is responsible for developing and delivering an industry leading experience for Flexers, as part of our mission to revolutionise the temporary staffing industry. You will be accountable for the engagement, development and retention of all Flexers on the platform to ensure that their Indeed Flex experience exceeds their expectations.
Located in London and reporting to the VP Operations, you will need to be highly-organised, data driven and energised to dig into ambiguity, understand the root of problems and align stakeholders to deliver solutions. You will need creativity to define a world-class customer engagement experience strategy as well as the execution, communication and stakeholder management skills to deliver on the program. You will require a mindset to challenge traditional processes and the people-forward philosophy to invest in and develop an amazing team that is set to change the world of temporary recruitment.


  • Work within the established Operations teams to understand current processes and define opportunities to enhance the experience of our Flexer community
  • Work with Flexers to understand their desired experience and where their current experience with Flex is or is not meeting their expectations  
  • Develop a vision for the Flexer Experience team and champion it’s value
  • Develop a Flexer lifecycle journey strategy that is clear and support that vision
  • Take learnings from other great businesses and their engagement strategies  
  • Identifying opportunities in the current quality management, learning and development, community support and customer lifecycle process or building new processes where none currently exist. 
  • Work to define our benefits and loyalty teams and strategy as well as managing key external partnerships that bring value to our Flexers.
  • Identify priority opportunities and quickly execute on them


  • Min. 5 years of experience in operations, consulting or a startup environment
  • A passion for marketplace platforms and improving the lives of job seekers
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in customer experience strategy ideal
  • Strong project management skills including using data to establish priorities, developing strategies to pursue them, and managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to balance detailed planning and engagement with swift execution
  • Desire to get your hands dirty when workers are busiest (nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Emotional resilience in fast-paced, high profile and ever-changing situatIons
  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA or relevant Master's degree a bonus)
