We’re expanding! Mahalo is a disruptive online food & drink distributor looking for an outstanding Sales Manager to join our close knit team. This role is a remote position but you must be able to attend fortnightly team meetings in central London.
Our clients are the loveliest people: owners of independent farm shops and delis across the country who all need help filling their shelves with great food and drink products. We’re looking for someone jolly who loves food and championing independents.
What will you be doing?
Working closely with our Head Of Sales to proactively grow turnover
Generating new leads and finding ways to continually secure new customers
Looking after your customers and maintaining strong personal relationships
Managing incoming enquiries and supporting the onboarding process
Getting customer feedback and relating this back to the team
Managing our CRM database and keeping information on our customers up to date
What are you like?
A confident communicator on the phone, with strong persuasion skills
A super people person, happiest building relationships and engaging with new people
Proactive self starter and able to troubleshoot independently
Highly organised and responsive, with a methodical approach to sales
Tech savvy, comfortable using virtual phone systems, email and social media
Goal driven and focused on meeting sales targets
Full of entrepreneurial spirit and focused on fast paced growth
What kind of experience have you got?
Experience in a customer facing sales role, ideally in FMCG
Demonstrable experience of achieving commercial targets
Proven track record of driving the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close
Experience working with small businesses, ideally in FMCG
